24 year-old Joey Kadmiri apparently didn't heed that warning recently in Las Vegas, as he allegedly snuck backstage of the Aussie-themed all-male strip show with plans to steal a few of their makeup and costumes.

Show members were preparing for his or her late show once they realized a few of their costumes were missing, with lots of them packed right into a strange suitcase outside the dressing room.

As some of the dancers and a show director were poking in the course of the suitcase Kadmiri appeared and tried to bluff his way out of trouble, claiming he'd bought the items for his girlfriend.

No one was buying his story and things apparently turned serious at that point, with Kadmiri -- who was wearing a SWAT hat and fireman clothes so that you can blend in -- pulling a gun and firing no less than one shot.

Several cast members piled on and subdued Kadmiri, with Excalibur hotel security holding him until Las Vegas Metro police arrived and took him away in handcuffs. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Kadmiri was said to have gave the look to be under the influence of meth and was charged with six counts of attempted murder and attempted robbery and burglary with a perilous weapon.

Thunder Down Under was a Vegas fixture since 2001, wooing largely female audiences with their abs and a full-on Vegas style show complete with light shows, costume changes, and other special effects.

Vegas could be a gambling playground but its over-the-top nature unfortunately results in shenanigans of this kind once in a while; luckily the Thunder Down Under show could continue with nary an ab harmed.
