- Never split 4's, 5's, or 10's
- Split 9's except against 7's, 10's and aces
- Split 2's, 3's, 6's and 7's against 2 through 7, hit 6's and 7's against 7 through ace
- Take insurance unless you might be twiddling with several people and spot no 10's out at the layout, otherwise neglect this bet.
- Use surrender except when you've got a fifteen against a ten and if in case you have 16 against a 9, 10 or ace.
