It is not hyperbole (well maybe a little) to say that ILWU Local 10 isthe vanguard of the U.S. labor movement. Local 10, and the rest of theS. F. ILWU locals, have repeatedly honored community pickets against thewar since 2003 (ILWU members and protesters were wounded when OPD firedupon them in 2003).
